Roz
King was born and raised in West Philadelphia. She began singing at the age of four and performed before her first large crowd
at the age of ten. Roz has performed for various schools and venues around the Philadelphia area including performing for
the Mayor of Philadelphia, opening for the Grammy Award winning group "The Roots", at WarmDaddy's and at New
York's "Wet Lands Club". She has also worked with Glenn Jones and Farrah (formerly of Destiny's Child). Roz
is produced by Herb “BIG HERB” Middleton, track master of industry super stars Mary J. Blige, Faith
Evans, Kelly Price, Nas, Az, Usher and more.
Roz's musical style and influence is that of R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop and Gospel.
To add to her powerful vocal ability, Roz also writes, dances, acts (West Side Story), does comedy and is a popular Philadelphia
hair-stylist. She has won talent contests at Temple University and for Philly radio station 103.9 FM. Roz
